Lorraine, I've got a great tragicomicromance about Bush in 2000, 9/11 and the birth of my children.

I really love the name of this blog and hope you'll allow me to write a word or two in it. I still menstruate; actually since I had the kids, I menstruate more often. I think it's a patriarchal plot of supernatural proportions.

Yes. We need to compile a list of great women bloggers--there are tons of them out there; I just haven't gotten my links together. Thanks!

Lorraine, are you familiar with bloglines.com? You can easily create and manage a blogroll that way.

Dear ladies:

I'm not stopping by to harrass or even to apply for the writing job. I just wanted you to know that I have apologized on dkos for what was meant to be a joke.

I came here to apologize to you in person for my tasteless, crude and unbecoming joke.

I have a daughter, Amelia, who will be two in October. I hope she grows up to have half the conviction, brains and sense of justice you do.

hink

p.s. I do kind of like the site name, though. Very funny turnabout.

Dear HinkyDink,
I appreciate more than I can say the apology. Apologies mean a lot to me, and I appreciate spirit in which it was intended. So, at least on my part, apology accepted.
May your daughter grow up to find that she can be whatever she wants to be--and that her dad will be her biggest fan.
Best to you.
But you don't mind if we keep the name, do you? I've grown fond of it...

Not at all, I think it's a great name for what I hope is going to be a fiery, take-no-prisoners, successful blog.

By the way, Amelia has two older brothers. One is just 10 months older, the other has her by 5 years. She is easily the most fearless of them all. She rocks.

Thanks, Hink, for the apology and explanation. Lorraine, I'm working up to a first post, but my son's birthday party is today. He is 4 years old, and he, too, ROCKS.

Goddess knows, Lorraine, I seem to have an opinion or viewpoint about every damn thing there is. I would love the opportunity to spout some of them here.

Great site!

I think your site need a 'crafts for bitches' section, perhaps featuring toilet seat covers with an ebroiderred Dobson and such.
