Dear ladies:
I'm not stopping by to harrass or even to apply for the writing job. I just wanted you to know that I have apologized on dkos for what was meant to be a joke.
I came here to apologize to you in person for my tasteless, crude and unbecoming joke.
I have a daughter, Amelia, who will be two in October. I hope she grows up to have half the conviction, brains and sense of justice you do.

I appreciate more than I can say the apology. Apologies mean a lot to me, and I appreciate spirit in which it was intended. So, at least on my part, apology accepted.

Not at all, I think it's a great name for what I hope is going to be a fiery, take-no-prisoners, successful blog.
By the way, Amelia has two older brothers. One is just 10 months older, the other has her by 5 years. She is easily the most fearless of them all. She rocks.
